The first name which comes in CD/DVD Burner category is Nero. Definitely Nero is one of most popular and feature rich product and best choice for CD & DVD burning software but it does consume lot of Memory.

Here is another alternative Software Ashampoo Burning Studio for Nero which is all in one tool for burning Software and Data on CD/ DVD or Blu-ray discs. Best part of Ashampoo Burning Studio is low memory consuming. Ashampoo Burning Studio 2008 is commercial software and costs $49.99 USD per license. We will tell you how you can get Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009 Full for Free.

Computerbild.de a German website giving away Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009 for Free. Here are the steps to download Free Ashampoo Burning Studio 2009.

I just installed it. Its in English, and its a full, unrestricted license.

    1. Go here to download: http://www.computerbild.de/download/Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-2009-Kostenlose-Vollversion-430765.html (site is German) - click "Herunterladen" at the bottom of the screen.
    2. When installing, select the option that says you want a key.
    3. When the installation is finished, you'll be taken to a registration form (german again), where you only have to give your email address (any fields with "freiwillig" are optional)
    4. You'll be sent an email with a registration link (Just under ">> Anfang des Links <<" in the email)
    5. Click it, put in some details (remember "freiwillig" is optional) - you can safely select English as language and Ireland as country - and when finished, click "Freebie Registration Keys" to get your key.

    Long winded, but it works!

But how long will it last? 30 maybe 90 days?
To start the online registration procedure just select ‘Get Full Version Key’ in the ‘Internet’ menu. If you are not already online the program will prompt you to establish a connection to the Internet. Your free full version key code will then be sent to you to the e-mail address you provide. Select ‘Enter Reg/Trial Key’ in the ‘Internet‘ menu and enter the key code in the input field displayed. That's it!

I guess "Reg/Trial Key" means Registration or Trial Key.
All the signs point towards this being the full version.
There is no trial/expiry date mentioned anywhere.

Most programs offer trial versions of their software whereby the functionality is limited. I'd assume this is a full version of the program on a trial basis. Maybe ze germans have got their economics wrong.

Anyway worth a shot cheers OP.
