bad memory signing on

First I have a physoligical report saying in it that my memory is in the 31st percentile rank(and that was on a good day) It means that 30% of the population have a worse memory than me. I can never remember the days I'm suppose to sign on, even with the reminder sent out. Last time I was warned because I was late for the __th time in a row. I didn't say anything about my memory then, I just looked quite sheepish and wrote down the next day I was ment to go. This time I never got the reminder and I ended up going to a wake yesterday(which I nearly forgot about, it was an old relitive that I didn't know) and I also ended up going to see my pregnant friend, I ended up staying up quite late and forgeting that I had to be up in the morning. I'm really annoyed with myself, I've only just remembered that I was ment to be over there.

If it does come to losing the dole money because of me being late, I don't think I would know what to do. I don't even remember where I put that report and I love it, it says my intelligence is in the 92nd percentile rank but I've spelling of an 11 year old(although I did go back and change alot of words, mixing up by b's for p's and spelling small words backwards)

She gave me the wrong date when I went in there last time. I'm not signing on until next week. All that worry for nothing, at least I got to pratice my driving.

It might be a good idea to let them know of your situation, it could save you a lot of hassle if they had a note of file :)

Why dont you set a reminder on your phone each month while you're in there for the following month? Set the reminder for the night before and when you get the reminder set your alarm for the next morning..

There's a few problems with this
    1. I always leave my phone somewhere and hope it 'turns up' sometimes it turns up in other peoples houses
    2. When I do try do this, I try to do it when I'm not in the way, I go over to my grannies, who lives across the road and go to do it there but normally forget by the time I cross the road. Even if I do remember I would have forgotten the date by then. And she can easily distract me by trying to feed me.
    3. The reminder thing on my phone, I just normally end up putting in the wrong date. I can easily get numbers and letters mixed up.

I think it's just the freudian theory of forgetting, as in I don't want to remember. I don't want to go to the dole office and I don't want to be signing on.

Why dont you ask family/friends to remind you?
