This is without doubt my favourite Fantomas album, the others are great but this is phenominal. Would have loved to see them do it at ATP before Christmas. I particularly like the metal version of The Godfather theme and the awesome reworking of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (the original is very quiet and Patton is singing the saxophone line). +1 recommendation to the max.

Yeah those tracks are from The Director's Cut, another excellent album BTW.

Whoops! I misread the thread title, I thought you were discussing The Director's Cut. :o

Nevermind, Delerium Cordia is good too but probably my least favourite of the four main albums.

I always thought that until recently when I played it through on a dark night in bed - there is a lot going on that I had missed when i was playing it in the kitchen washing the dishes!
    Suspended Animation is great too.

Yeah it's good, I'd probably rank it a close second being The Director's Cut

I adore Suspended Animation and Director's Cut is great, but I just find it hard to listen all the way through Delirium Cordia. I did do it a couple times and it's good, but I need a few more spins.

Delirium Cordia is a fine piece of work indeed. Its getting the time whilst avoiding distractions to listen to it I find most difficult!

Would loved to have seen Fantomas-Melvins play 'The Director's Cut' in full last December at ATP.

Anyone buy the 2008 Melvins-Fantomas Big Band DVD Live from London in 2006?

There is no music from Delirium Cordia on the set of course, but songs from all the other albums get a blast, as do a couple of Melvin's specials (Hooch & Night Goat)...really worth a purchase if your a fan of either band...

I have the Big Band CD that came out years ago and I like that despite the crappy recording quality, been meaning to get the DVD. It's meant to be a lot, lot better.

Yea I have Millenium Monsterwork too John, and as much as I love the songs on it, the sound quality is crap!

You won't regret purchasing the new DVD...
