    can any 1 tell me what xfire is and call of duty server's that people can have?? and where can i start playing with people that like playing competively

    xfire is like msn messenger for games, instant messenging + you see what games your friends are playing and it has other stuff, dunno what u mean by call of duty servers you can have, might help if u say whether your playing on a console or pc, competitive wise, cant help if u dont say what platform your playing also

    Macker14717, the general feeling around "competitive gaming" is that when it comes to FPS games, they should be kept to PC. I've played in "high skill" clans in France back in the CoD1 days and we had the 3rd best team in the country so I would consider that "competitive" and we would literally laugh at people who mentioned FPS gaming on consoles...

    That is why I understand why ThoughyIRE and KamiKazi have posted above (although they didn't have to be so nasty!).

    I don't know if there is a "competitive" level for FPS games on consoles... Maybe there is. But my advice to you is, if you really want to become competitive, get a proper PC and go from there! ;)
