    Hi,

My acer laptop will not allow me to turn up the volume anymore. When I press "Fn" function and then press the volume increase button, only one bar of the volume scale on screen appears.

I can't get to listen to any audio now? Totally confused here? anyone suggest anything?

    thanks,

    NIF

Have you tried turning up the volume from the taskbar or from the Audio setup?

    Navigate:

    Start
    Control Panel
    Sounds and Audio Devices

You may have reset the mapping for the Smart Keys also.
