Hi, im living in Stamullen, County Meath and for the last week or so my reception from Clermont Carn has been greatly reduced, to non viewable. This happened immediately after the change to MPEG4 but came right back up to full strength and remained that way until about 2 weeks ago. Has any one else noticed this ?

Not CC, but I was doing some experimenting with a USB DVB-T stick last night with 3R, and at one point the quality dropped from about 70% to less than 50% - I was going mad, didn't know whether it was the stick, my PC or the Tx.

Maybe there is some general testing going on with the transmitters?

Hey there I'm in Gormanston and have no issues with signal strength except with TG4 which can be fuzzy but I'm not bothered.

Could be your aerial needs looking at!

Hi, just confirming that the signal is with the DTT signal and not analog. My analog is ok withTG4 also a little fuzzy in Stamullen but its the DTT signals that have dropped for me. It could be the aerial, will try and get a look at the weekend.
    Thanks for the responses ...

I have always received sound from the DTT tests but nothing has been coming in the last week or so.

I also notice there is terrible 24/7 interference on analogue TV 3 making it almost unwatchable. TG 4 via analogue also suffers from it but only intermittently and not for long. What are they doing up at that mast? :p

Call RTENL and ask if they are working on the DTT 1850584584 better than climbing on the roof
