Anyone else expierience this. After a while of using goggles a dark green/brown scum develops on the goggle's and causes skin irritation. The problem is that you can't just scrub the green crap off your goggles, its stuck there and you end up with goggle eye's. :(

Anyone know how to stop it. Should I buy new goggle's and then wash them after swim in vinegar or something?

I swim 5 days a week in decent pool, (ie not a chlorine fest).

I've never experienced this. Sorry. I would however, change my goggles if I saw anything growing/sticking to them.

Yeap, this happens and I've even seen it on some makes of silicone hats. Little dark spots of what I presume to be mildeu?

Bin them and buy a new pair. If you rinse your goggles and gear after each swim under the tap and dry them, they'll last much longer. I'm just a demon for throwing the stuff in my wet bag and then forgetting about them.
