Awww man, just got SKY back after a long absence and just noticed this thread !!! That’s an Epic FAIL on my part because the main reason I got the sky package back was to watch the UFC on Bravo !!!

I called Setanta and they wanted to charge me ridiculous money to sign up to their package. It was like 34 Euro for the first payment then 21 Euro a month, I mean I love to watch the UFC but at 260 quid a year I think I will be keeping up to date on the Laptop from now on.... :(

Anyone know of a cheaper way to get UFC on Satellite ??

You'd think the likes of the UFC would put a pay per view on their website and cut out the middle men.

Must be something to do with advertising revenue

That was a serious bit of self pwnage

you get a lot of UFC for your money, almost every night there is some sort of UFC program on (a good few repeats all the same)

Pure Lack of attention to detail, threes no excuse for it really, Self p0wnage indeed...

Is there any way I can get just the one Setanta channel unlocked through my SKY dish to watch the ufc ? I don’t mind paying another 10 sheets a month or something I just don’t need all the football channels and that crap I will never watch them and doesn’t interest me in the slightest...

Are there no legit streams available on the UFC website? There definitely used to be.

Yo Mamma - I think what a few guys do for the Setanta UFCs is pay the 20 euro etc. for a months subscription and cancel after the first month.

i totally agree that the price is too much and then a signing fee too. i wanted it on free gsp and bj fight which by the wasnt any good. but i had to sign on for two months and a signing on fee. so i asked if i stop paying and want to get it again in six months. they said i must pay the signing fee again, thats just total greed. and i dont watch any football or anything else. and UFC wired is just repeats of old fights non of the recent fights. i agree that you should be able to log on one channel only and not have to pay for another four or five channels that are useless to me

I think you're the only person I've heard say that Penn v GSP 2 wasn't any good.

What about it didn't you like?

If it's the grappling I suggest you watch K1 instead of MMA.

K1 is probably shown on Eurosport, they show just about everything else!

maybe wasnt any good was a bad choice of words. i was expecting a war and gsp wouldnt let bj fight . so i will say disappointing fight. and who made you the expert on mma anyway. i have a right to make my own statement about a fight and not having you say i dont know the difference between mma and a wash down of muay thai

Where exactly did I question your right to your own opinion?

I merely suggested an alternative if you were a new fan, but the grappling put you off.

Edit: A mod should probably move this to MMA.

not a new fan. i can remember watching the first UFC on video when there was only three or four rules thats it and that was in the UFC 1.i was just expecting a war between the two best fighters at that weight class. im a thai boxer but i love the whole mma thing i am and always will be a fan. even if some people dont agree to my verdict on a fight
