Hi i am in the market for a double oven but i am unsure which one to get. whirlpool seem to have a good name in this department.
also, is the single oven dead and gone now or would i be foolish to get a single oven ?

I have just bought my kitchen appliances and would recommend visiting watters electrical as they are extremely helpful in making up your mind as to which one suits you best. to answer the question single ovens are not dead still alive and kicking. let me know how you get on or if you've got one already.

How often do you use your oven? How often will you need 2 ovens? What will you be cooking and will one oven suffice?

I've a double oven. One is narrow and great for baking or roasting in small roasting trays. It heats up quickly. The other oven is larger and is great for cooking family roasts, pizzas, or anything in a full sized roasting tray but it does take while to heat.

Ultimately, what you need really depends on what you intend to use it for. No point in spending money on something that will be used rarely.
