Check if light stays on in boot. It happened to me

Yeah, heard that was a problem with alfas, the boot switch can become a bit faulty, however checked all switches, lights, Ciggie lighter etc etc.... still no head way..

It takes about 7 - 10 days to drain a full battery...

The Alfa alarm, which is worked off the keys?

Possibly a bad alternator, had an issue with one of them before, not in an alfa but and old gallant, battery would work for a few days and die, figured it out it was the alternator by using a voltmeter..... grabbed a second hand alternator swapped it over and it ran like a peach till I blew the head gasket a year or so later:D

Forgot to mention that the car is off the road (No NCT atm) so would hardly be turned over..

Have a multi-meter however those Italians have buried the alternator in the depths of the engine compartment..

Haynes aren't even brave enough to bring a manual on these..!!

It does, Although I've spent a few years fitting car security and in my eyes the alarm is working perfectly...
May disconnect it anyway, just to tick it off from the list of things to try..

    Thanks for the reply..
