I want to put it out there to you all to recommend how we could save a few bob... like what can we ask for leverage and expect to get anything back. Can we expect to get corkage…

Hi guys,
we're getting married in june and are going down to meet the wedding planer at the hotel we are having the reception at in a few weeks. I want to put it out there to you all to recommend how we could save a few bob... like what can we ask for leverage and expect to get anything back. Can we expect to get corkage or bar extension or anything like this for free if we ask or are we wasting out time? We have approx 160 guests staying at the hotel and i'd say the vast majority are already booked in for two if not 3 mights in the hotel... does this not buy us a bit of lee-way? fair enough they are providing us with our room free of charge for the night and night after our wedding but how should i approach trying to shave a few more bob off the total bill?
