It burned for a little longer than 7 seconds.

If your poorly worded sentence was meant to mean it was down 7 seconds after it started fallign, well , have you tried holdign up a building that has started collapsing?

It wouldn't surprise me if they were using the building as a platform to launch fireworks, we will know soon enough.
