Where can I buy Chinese currency?

    So I'm heading to China on hols on Thursday to catch the sun explore the warmer southern parts and Hong Kong!!
    I went into the bank (AIB) today thinking it would be just like getting Sterling but was told that they dont keep any Chinese currency and that they only place they could think of might be Thomas Cooke travel agents (which would rip me off no doubt for the privilege).

    Can I get it at the airport or do any banks here stock the currency in their larger Dublin City centre branches?
    Any advice?

    their is a few currency exchange places in Dublin or you could try central bank itself. Usually have to order in exotic currencies from the local banks but you should get it in town

    I got Chinese RMB in Dublin airport before. And you'll be able to get it at the next airport, wherever you're travelling on from (Heathrow/CDG/Schipol/etc). And of course there are exchange desks in the airports in China, as well as numerous ATM's. Enjoy the hol, tis a great country for holiday
