    Hi all,

I have been asked to attend a group interview in Dublin for a company called Meltwater News. The thing is i have found a blog where people are ripping the company to pieces and saying not to work for them. Im not sure whether they were just unhappy employees as some people say its a great place to work.

Does anyone know anything about them or anyone working there at the moment?

    Any advice/info would be great.

    Thanks :)

sounds like they could be sales based and workon a commission only system. A group interview already sounds like its a non runner to me...they probably have so many applicants that they cant do individual interviews

The role is called International Management Trainee, but what the guys are saying is that its mainly cold calling and if your good at it then great if not stay away!might just go to the interview and see for myself.

    Thanks.

Sorry to drag this thread up again but just wondering how you got on with the interviews and if you took the job if offered.

I have noticed that they are advertising again and I have sent my CV but having read some of the blogs online Im not sure I would work for them.

as anyone any insight into the Irish office??

If a rat is being smelled, normally there a rat to be found. I am not at all sure this sounds like a good move, your own doubts about this Jobs suggest to me you should walk away. Whilst i am unsure if this is a commission only Job, i can say that such jobs in the current climate are impossible to succeed in, could be an expensive mistake!
