i work with a community group in Blanchardstown, mainly lads n lassies in their 20's/30's. there are only 8 on board at present and we are stuck for something to do tomorrow. last week we went to the guinness factory and the bodies exhibition. we were gonna head for the national stud as some would have a fair interest in horses. the cavan centre was also an option, but with temperatures down low, canoeing or trekking in the hills aint the best idea just now.

PLEASE, all suggestions will be greatly appreciated

    Hi

You never stated if you have a budget etc. How about a quick one hour/ one day, photo contest.
8 pre-paid pocket cameras, pick a theme (Blanch shopping centre, trains, NAC, urban life, weather etc).
Give a one hour or half day deadline - each to finish the roll of film.
Drop into a photo lab ( a few in the centre exist), grab a cuppa or lunch.

Collect photos, have a vote on their favourite, winner gets an enlargement and frame, runner-up an enalrgemant etc..

Good team activity, interaction at the beginnning and end - possibly lead into regular activity or hobby? Very little outlay.

Longer term - ask the lab to load the disposables with CN 41, black and white - powerful B+W images from cheap cameras. (will cost a bit more as not using the preloaded film...)
