Yeah, no problem, it might mean you have to win it to avoid waiting around for a lift though.

Hi all, we'd 39 players in the 4 Seasons Monaghan last night. The total prize-pool (including scalp chips) was €1,815. Top 7 got paid, with a €700 first prize and a €300 second prize, €200 for 3rd, €120 for 4th, €100 for 5th, €80 for 6th and €60 for 7th. In addition there were free entries for 8th, 9th and best hand and €195 in scalp chips. It looks like we'll have a lot more players here next week.
Well done to Padriag Redden and Damo Kent (of Banditz Poker) who chopped heads up.

Sundays game in McCaffreys of Redhills has been cancelled as it clashes with a fund raiser game in the Bailey Hotel in Bailieboro.
    Sorry for any incovenience.

You dont have to be a member of a club to play any of mick's or my games. That is just part of a charter that organisers have to comply with to enable them to advertise their events on here.
I play in some of micks games and i also run my own , so i hope i meet ya at some of the games .
    Regards... Damo

i'd be sure to always put in 'Cavan' poker tour and not CPT. Your'll be Banned:D

    Thanx iain, duly noted.
45 players in the Four Seasons in Monaghan tonight, this could overtake The Goalpost in Arva as the busiest pub game outside of Dublin if this keeps up.
Well done to Wild Billy Flynn who took the €800 first prize plus €50 in scalps. Darren Monaghan came 2nd winning €360, with 3rd place (€250) going to last years Cavan Poker Open runner up John Smyth. There were prize for everyone on the final table, 4th got €160, 5th €120, 6th €100, 7th €80, 8th €70 and 9th €60. Including scalp chips there was €2,300 in prize money and it looks like we might break the 50 player mark next week.
Thanks to all who took part and well done to all who cashed.

??? do i have points in your league mick ???

Mick says 1500, well done ya blagger
    check out the website www.cavanpoker.com

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 713 ✭✭✭Mr. Wolf

Thats correct Damian, you have 1,500 points from coming 2nd in The Four Seasons last week. 1st place has 8,000 points and he is also a blagger!
Points available every night, these are turned into chips at the final play off. €50 gets each player in the play off an extra $10,000 chips. The top 9 players in the league each get free entries into this game to which €500 is added. Its proved to be a very popular League format for all the players involved, and the best part is that nothing is taken from the prize-pool any night to make up the money for the final.
The final is March 15th in the Meadoview Cavan and should get 100 plus runners.
    Keep that date free...
