Hard or Soft water

    Does anyone know who I would contact to find out whether the water is hard of soft in my area as I suspect its quite hard and want to protect my appliances if so

    You can be reasonably certain that you have hard water as large parts of the Country has hard Water. You can take a sample and get it fully analyzed in a Lab for about 30 to 60 euro. Or buy a touch papers online or in Garden centers to test the water for hardness.
