Does anybody use Pyro platforms or anything similar in duathlons or sprint triathlons so they can cycle in their running shoes? Do you lose out on much power output on the bike as a result of them and if so are they still worth it for the time you'll save in transition?

Are you going to be top ten in the race? If not you don't need them

I was 4th yesterday in Limerick duathlon. It wasn't the strongest field I've seen in a race, but spent a lot longer in transition compared to the other people around me. Do you use them yourself and do they affect your performance on the bike?
    Thanks
