wrong version error...

I'm trying to play pro evo 2009 against a mate on xbox live. It keeps telling me that I have the wrong version (v1.00.00) while he has version 1.00.02. Ive gone into system setting -> download, but there is no update listed there. Any idea what im doing wrong ?
