A few of us were thinking going to berlin to work for the summer, does anybodu know if it'll be hard to get a job there this summer?
We have all got a bit of german and aren't too fussy about where we work.

Also, if youve got any other advise, it'd be appreciated
    Thanks

berlin is fantastic alright for the summer - but to be honest its almost impossible to get a job. So many germans head there for the summer its incredibly difficult - id say your best bet is to volunteer at teaching english or something, the good side is that its really cheap to live. cheers

thanks, do you not even think that we could get a job in a hostel or Mc Donalds or something?

yeah a hostel might be your best bet - at least you stay for free there. Possibly if your German is fluent you could get something. I was there the summer before last and its amazing how many Germans I met who were just working a few part time hours a week - its just the way it is

Was in Berlin last week, wasnt impressed with the city culture to be honest re bars, restaurants etc which is the complete opposite of what i expected....Was in Munich for a couple of months a good few years back though and would recommend there instead (all my mates got jobs some way or another - couple of them even worked in Bayern Munich stadium)

Can't comment on the job side of things but Berlin would certainly be an awesome place to spend the summer, particularly if you're into POUNDING TECHNO MUSIC!
