    Hi,
Anyone know how to get rid of bats from a house?
My brother's place is nigh on overrun by them. He's gone through all the proper channels as they are protected by law,but so far nobody has been able to give him a definite solution to the problem.
I can't remember what steps he has taken but it's been going on with the last 3 years and still nobody from the relevant authorities?? has helped him.
Anybody have any ideas how to disperse them?
    Thanks in advance.

All I can think of is making up a load of bat boxes and placing them in another part of the garden, but at the end of the day I think anyone who has bats has to put up with them.

You've probably checked these out already but just in case http://www.batconservationireland.org/

There's a list of wildlife type places on irishanimals.ie http://www.irishanimals.ie/wildlife/index.html

Glendalough has a bat colony perhaps giving their visitors center a ring and one of the rangers might be able to put you in touch with someone.
