Aye, end of the week. Its now saturday, the new site is up with no line-up to show, nor any information on when its going to be posted. They're probably waiting until after the 31st to post the line-up just so they'll do the majority out of the extra 10 or 15 euro or whatever.

    Tightness!

Yes that is the whole point. People trusting Life buying the ticket before announcing the lineup will have the discount for fidelity.

    Thanks

Early bird tickets are always a good investment. You'll either like the lineup and can go for cheaper... or you'll be able to sell them on to someone else easily enough as you'll have them for less than what they will be costing after the lineup is announced.

I got an email yesterday saying that the license for Life Festival has just been granted. Does anyone know if this festival went ahead in May or what's the story?

They were supposed to be playing "live" from a studio via the interweb but sounds kinda dodgy from the Life fest forum

Jees, that's a kick in the balls that the headline act cancelled.

And for the record I know at least one DJ that neutronyx/Fernando did not pay;)

Was at this Fri/Sat/Sun and had a really good time. I just wanted to post up a few things that have been on my mind.

    Pros
    The weather was really good.
The grounds were really lovely, and really enjoyed sitting in the shade relaxing by the lake.

    Cons
A lot more security/DS this year (which is prob needed as a festival gets bigger i guess)
No plastic bottles over a certain size (< 1 ltr) allowed into the event, and on the last day only one open can allowed in (also prob due to beer companies at the event)
Some of the stages were a bit close together, so that the sound from one area was coming into the other.
Music closed down quite early as opposed to the previous years.

Don’t get me wrong I had a great time, and will prob be back again next year. I guess I just think that some of the things which held life apart from EP & some of the bigger festivals had been lost.

Anyone else there? Do you feel the same?

Unreal real time! Unreal time! Unreal time!

Yea I loved it, the weather, music and people were perfect.

Can't complain about anything really since I just had a class time!

Well done life!! Big up to ye all! Fair play. Bring it on again!

What happened to the Life festival forum, its now been replaced by the AWPG Public Education Initiative. I wanted to post my Electric Picnic Review like I did last year. How can it be scrapped just like that?

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)
