  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,877 ✭✭✭liamo333

Dont think it was Phil. I was talking to someone on the main trail on 3 rock who got a board in aldi and was giving it a try.

Was this you I was speaking to samhail? I has skis attached to my bag and the guy I was with had a snowboard in a bag.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,877 ✭✭✭liamo333

Nah wasnt us. It was good, great powder conditions, managed to get down the main road in less than 2 mins:). Any luck with the boarding?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭samhail

i had just sprained my ankle when ye guys got there i think.
either that or right after ye left... tied myself in... went down like 3m, fell and a nice sprain for myself !
    idiot :) i know.

the other lad was messing around for a while but i think i scared him a wee bit :)
didnt stop him putting the board on the ground and sitting on it.

ah we are big kids :)

You must not have been wearing snowboarding boots or didn't strap your feet in tightly if you managed to sprain your ankle...very easy to sprain/break an ankle if you're a snowboarding n00b.
