Challenging woman

    So I like this girl. She's smart, pretty and all sorts of nice things. She's a friend of a friend and we get along great. Downside is, she's a bit of a "free spirit". Her friends tell me she doesn't really do dates and is more of a drunken score kind of girl. But I know she's had boyfriends before so it's not completely impossible.

    So how do you ask out a girl who doesn't date? I'm not really a drunken score kinda of guy and since she's only a friend of a friend we don't go out drinking too often anyway. Should I just risk it and ask her out anyway? I've just been texting and messaging her a bit and I'm worried if I don't do something soon I'll be put in the dreaded friendzone. Or maybe I'm there already. Or maybe I've friendzoned her by not making a move?

    Ahh.. overthinking!

    Ignore what other people say about her.
    Just ask her if she'd like to go to the restaurant/coffee shop/whatever, with you and take it from there.

    Shackleton you can get in contact with her despite not seeing each other out that often
    so as her out for coffee/lunch/what ever rather then trying to find away to be around
    all your socail circle with drink taken and be in her path.

    Ask her out.
