My girlfriend told me about this conversation she had with her friend the other day. Her friend's boyfriend told her he'd take her away on a holiday this summer and she misunderstood and thought he meant he'd pay for the whole thing.

She was a bit annoyed about this and was venting to my girlfriend when she said "He should pay for more stuff anyway because he makes more money than I do and I'm better looking than him".

So what do people think of that? Should the less desirable among us pay to keep their more attractive OH's happy?

Anyone have any similar stories?

If she expects freebies just because she is good looking, he should dump her ass in 10 seconds!

The same girl was once asked to move her car because it was blocking my gf's and she refused to go as far as the driveway because she had no make up on (she had stayed the night)

Well to do older guys are probably happy being seen out and about with a hot young woman without having to go through the inevitable embarrassment of not being able to get it up later in bed. Both parties come away happy enough I imagine.

She does seem to have the same sense of entitlement that the girl described by the OP has...In other words, "I'm so hot that I DESERVE free things." My coworker told me she is doing the men a favor..

I've even heard men use it like a verb..i.e "I got Dinner Whored last night.." poor things...

I think it would be funny if she and the other Dinner Whores got a taste of their own medicine. A lot of those investment banker sort of guys are facing lean times. It would be so funny if one of my co-worker's dates went to the men's room and never came back, leaving her with the bill.
