Looks like an updated version of Angus Deayton's KYTV.

(Nice website though, but the sketches aren't really original - The guess what Im thinking Gameshow thing was done last year by Karen Taylor on her BBC 3 show, the News is a pretty direct lift from "The Day today" and Pimp my wife & xxx grannies et al were done elsewhere too, but the "Real Hitler" at least looks funny. Long as it's funny, thats all that matters. )

    It wasn't all that bad.

Americas next serial killer looks good! :)

    It's a little gem.
Some sketches don't hit, but alot do.

No one can argue that the concept is original, but it does it better than just about all its contemptaries. As the above poster said, it doesn't matter as long as it's entertaining, and it is.

It has also avoided the biggest trap of sketch shows by having a large cast so repeats are rarer and less jarring.

As FX's first commissioned show, it's a smart choice.

Missed this thread first time around but yeah, I've been enjoying it and it really hits the nail on the head for some of the programs. The quiz program with the utterly inane questions and coked up host is spot on, I think it's actually an Irish girl playing the part and doing it very well at that.

It's not a bad programme, but I am getting tired of the 'Next top Serial killer' thing as I think the joke is a bit dead after few episodes.

Last nights attempt to take the piss out of Andy grey and the like was the highlight so far for me. Captured their silliness and stupidity perfectly.
