Recover deleted shows on Sky+ ??

So I recorded something on Sky+ during the week. The idiot that I am hit the delete button instead of the keep one .. Is there a straight forward way to recover it or am I pretty much screwed?

I think you're screwed, there might be a way but it would involve removing your HD, attaching it to a PC and running some recovery software, etc.

But Sky's system is pretty well encrypted so it would be a lot of hassle.

Anyhow, most shows are repeated (ad nauseum if on Sky) or if it was an RTE programme, may be available online in their archive.

What was the programme might I ask?

It was called "Rookies". They have some shows on the A&E website but not this one. There'll probably be a repeat at some stage .. but it was annoying me. I was halfway through it and I had just gone back to the menu for a second and said I'd hit keep and finish watching it later so I wouldn't delete it (keep means they prompt before deleting) and of course I hit delete by mistake. Who puts the yellow and blue buttons next to each other?

I really have no interest in taking box apart etc as it's not worth that much to me. Was hoping Sky may have had some option built in somewhere for undelete that I'd missed or something.
