    Hi guys,
I'm not very familiar with Ireland getting driving licence structure. Can anyone help me with some questiops?
I have a full B eu licence and I'm going to do test to get provisional licence for C category. I got confuced about the way you get full EC. According the "driving theory test" book I can't apply for EC without having a full C category. My question, is that mean that I have to do driving course for C category first and after for EC? Is any time restriction applies before you apply for EC; I mean there is no need to wait for 1 or 2 years after you get C to apply for EC like in some other countries?

    Thank's for any information...

If you hold a B category license you may apply for a C category license. To obtain an EC license you must first complete your C category license. There is no mandatory waiting period though you will have to wait for a test date and for lessons. In other words once you have your (pink) rigid truck license you can straight away apply for an EC provisional licence.
