Croatia & Montenegro...where to go?!

    Hi, going to Croatia in May for 9 nights, I have been to Croatia before and loved it. Went exploring Bosnia the last time I was there and now want to hit Montenegro but wondering where in Montenegro is the best place to go? Also any recommendations on island close to Dubrovnik to go to for a couple of nights....was in Hvar before but want to go to island a bit closer this time round!!

    We were in Durmitor in northern Montenegro in Sept and it was amazing, maybe too far to travel if you're only away for 9 days. The area is great for skiing in winter and hiking in the summer but we went for the rafting which was very tame due to the time of year, it should be proper scary/adrenaline rush in May. The coast close to Croatia is supposed to be beautiful, we went to Ulcinq, beside Albania, and the beach and water was very dirty, not a great place. PM if you want more info.
