    Hi Guys,

Has anyone got a Huawei E160g USb Modem working on a ASUS E3509 laptop.

Its not picking up the 3g dongle as a modem, when I try and add it up under networks tab.

Any help would be appricated. Thanks in advance

    Loads of people have.
It's actually a serial device / Dialup networking even on Windows.

Google has the answers. As do most Linux forums.

You know this is MIDBAND, not Broadband question?

Sorry honest mistake its been advertised broadband, I didnt know it was called Midband until this morning.

Ive googled it all morning and I still havent got it working, hence thats why I decided to do a post here, just in case someone had easy step by step instructions.

Can you Move it to the MidBand section, incase anyone over there can help me

Try www.eeeuser.com - it's covered in the forums if not the wiki.
