They take specific MP7 mags. There's two lengths, long and short (obvioulsy). As midcaps, the short hold 20 rounds and the long hold 50. There are also 200 round long hicaps. MAG and TM make the best, with TM having trades and metal bodies as opposed to MAGs plastic body. MAG ones, however, are considerably cheaper and work just the same.

The MP7 takes MP7 mags only, there are long and short versions. I'd recommend the Star mags. I got mine from ehobbyasia.

I think it must be a while since you've given your MP7 some sweet fondling.
The short midcaps hold 50, long hold 100. At least mine do. Maybe yours are different.
Short 50 rounders have given me a little grief with jamming recently. My long 100rders are flawless. All 5 of them still going strong after a lot of usage. Can't remember if it's the STAR or MAG ones I have though. One comes in a box of 5, the other in a box of 6, mine are the box of 5. I think they're the Star ones.

MP7 most definately does not take MP5 mags. Not only that, but most MP5 mag pouches will not take long MP7 mags.
A double M4 mag pouch will usually take 2 long MP7 mags though. And most single pistol mag pouches will take a short MP7 mag.

    Hope this helps.

    speaking of your MP7...

the number we got for ya doesn't seem to work, the problem with the feeding on it was actually just the magazines. i tried WELL magazines and it works perfectly., :)

anyway, MAG err, mags are great, nice and cheap too and they take a good beating with no problems., :)

It has been ages since I took her for a run, but I checked to make sure. Mine are 20 rounders but I don't have long ones. I figured the long ones were double that.

Edit: I realised just now, they're real caps. I probably should pick up some mids for it.
