Decent AV Furniture

    Hi All

    Im looking for a site that does decent AV furniture and supplies to Ireland.

    I need an AV cabinet that looks like a sideboard or a chest of draws, no glass shelves or panels allowed by her indoors.

    Will post a couple of pics of the AV install in the next day or so, but in the meantime does anyone have any good pointers?

    Could always try Ikea, or Sanus.

    I myself as a temp solution purchased a sideboard in Harvey Norman, which contained 2 drawers at the top, with 2 shelves beneath, removed the back from it, and then placed 4 pieces of equipment in it behind closed doors.

    got an alphason stand off them - half the price you would pay here and they deliver to ireland for only 30 extra - got the cabinet in two days - they have a great selection

    Get some made for you? My brother makes bespoke kitchen and bedroom furniture. He made me some units to my exact measurements. They are far better quality than anything you can buy. Let me know if you want pics of mine.

    I got a kitchen cabinet maker to make me something for all my AV gear in the living room. Made it my specifications, height width etc and was very happy with the results for €280 if memory serves me. White high gloss finish but had a choice of finishes. Yes it's laminate but nobody would notice unless you look inside?

    nice for the 46" tv.
    delivery charge is great to ireland and fast. It is made for home equipment such that its the perfect size on each side for an av receiver.

    I did loads of research on this. Go over to avforums and check out the reviews.
