    Battle of the Axe is currently enjoying its 12th successive year on the open mic at The Ha’penny Bridge Inn by the famous Ha’ Penny Bridge in Temple Bar. The open mic stage continues and now welcomes back its most successful acts to the show. The club promises to present an eclectic mix of entertainment through month of February ’09.
    Stand-up comedy, singer/songwriters & open mic are premier features of the Battle of the Axe show on TUESDAY nights while THURSDAY night features some of the best Stand-up Comedy, improv and sketch performances to be seen in Dublin city. The gig is one of Ireland’s longest established clubs and continues to feature guest performances and includes comedy luminaries during the coming month such as: Feb 10th Kieran Lawless [Irish comedy Award Winner], Feb 12th Andrew Stanley – I Dare Ya, Feb 17th Damo Clarke, Feb 19th –Dave Mc Savage, James Goldsbury[Irish Comedy winner], Feb 24th Bob Hennigan, Feb 26th Ha’ penny Laugh Improve & Dean Scurry [Joy in the Hood]
