Nissan Micra Horn not working

My Micra's horn isn't working. I've jumpered the live to the horn itself and it works. The switch works. The fuse is ok. It's driving me bonkers because while I don't particularly need a horn, peaceful driver as I am. It failed the NCT because of it - so the State is insisting I get it working!!

Is there anything else I'm missing? Eg. Is there a horn relay hidden somewhere away that I haven't thought of?

Broken wire....? Run a temporary wire form the fuse to the horn and see what happens. Try other variations of bypassing the existing wiring. Do your best to always keep some sort of fuse in-line - just in case.

There maybe a relay - I'm not sure with a Nissan - there isn't on VWs. Horns don't usually require the amount of current that necessitates a relay.

Let me know if if you can get something to sort it.

I'm having problems with my horn also.

Probably a broken wire somewhere, could be hard to track down. You may have to rewire it.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Thanks lads - I don't think it's a broken wire. Does anyone know if there's a relay in the circuit that could be faulty?

As a Micra driver it's far more likely that other drivers will be beeping you then you beeping them ;)

I agree - I am not a beeper, I'm more of a sleeper. But what about my NCT?

Anyway I whack the Beemer fellows in the gym! No substance to those guys.
