    Hi,

hoping some one can help, just got Endwar and it won't load because of "not availible memory". I have deleted almost all saved games and it free memory doesn't seem to change.

It says 1439mb/37GB what does this mean please?

That means you only have 1439mb free space on the hard drive.

37GB is the hard drives full capacity, 1439mb is how much is left on the drive, I.e close to 1.4GB, you will need to delete game installs or large files to install the demo, as it is asking for more that "1.4GB"

    Cheers Nick,

I have deleted loads of stuff already and now it's getting down to saved stuff I use.

I have no photo's or music on it, 37GB doesn't seem like a lot of memory.

What do you mean it doesn't seem like a lot of memory? Stupid question for a ps3 owner to ask - do you not know what model you have??

Save games wouldn't take up much hard drive space, try deleteing PS3 game installs (Ones you havn't played in a while, they can be re-installed later again), not sure how this is done but it should be easy enough to find

I have a 40GB. I thought my comment was self explanatory.

Hi Nick thanks for your help.

I got the game used from Gamestop. It is telling me it can't load because i need 339MB free on hard drive. I have cleared abit and have over 4500MB free space.
Could it be a dodge game?

    Hard Drive corrupt perhaps?

    Hard Drive corrupt perhaps?

I thought that too at first:eek:, but then went to PS store and it allowed me to download the RE5 demo which is over 900MB. Would I now be right to discount that possibility?

the games saves themselves are insignificant in size when compared to the overall drive capacity so it won't really matter if you delete them or not. what you can try is to go to Game Data Utility in the GAME menu in XMb and delete any crap for games you either don't own (prob from the previous owner) or don't play anymore.

Doesn't the PS3 tell you if a file is corrupt?
