Scratching the face off the OH

So, I hooked up the other week and while it was all good (:D) I noticed the oul brillo pad effect on her the next day. I do feel bad about it and want to do something about it. Unfortunately I'm Homer Simpson when I shave, the minute I walk out of the bathroom after shaving, bam! it's started to grow back.

I use KOS Razor and Gilette Gel. And usually shave once a week, On Monday, so I've an attractive bit of stubble there for the weekend :)

Have any of you worldly-wise gentlemen got a solution?

Just put a pillow case over my head next time I get frisky?

PS: I really hate being clean shaven, just looking for something to soften it up a little.

i'm a grizzly too, i started to shave with Shea butter and it seemed to soften up the beardage, but as i hate being cleanshaven now, i've bought a beard trimmer which keeps it at a manageable level....but not so soft. But the missus has learned to deal with it.

It pains me to ask this, but would moisturiser (sp?) work?

Moisturiser post shave works for me but being a shaver every 2 ,3 days , dont have a strong growth like yourself . Dont think it will stop the growth tbh .

It's not about stopping the growth, merely softening it. Thanks though.

The logical solution is to let it grow. :D

Stubble by it's very nature is "sharp" and scratchy, basically because you've just cut the hair off at a sharp angle with a razor. When the hair begins to grow out you feel this edge.

my missus loves her bear rash!:p
Nah she hates it, nothing she cant do about it though. I shave abour once a week and once I leave the bathroom its as rough as sandpaper, no matter what I do!
A few days later though the stubble is soft enough
