ISS Queries

Right, so I got another TCD email account cos my original one was spelt wrong. ISS emailed me saying that it was set up and I could use my passwords for the original one for the new one. Only problem is I changed all my original passwords that I got from the college (obviously) and can't remember it now to set up/log into my new email address. Emailed ISS services about it, they sent me an email saying go to the online helpdesk and open your query.

So I logged in, there's no case number there so I tried switching browsers as I know it can be a problem, switched to Mozilla and IE still nothing there.

My original email expires in 10 days so I'm like ****ting myself if I can't access it before then!

Anyone know how to open your query cases in the ISS helpdesk?

You could just go into the ISS office in person. It is in Aras An Phiarsaigh.

    Or try this:
Go to https://tmailuser.tcd.ie/ - logon with the username and password you use to logon to PCs in college. It'll then let you reset your password for Myzone.

Just to let you know, ISS is likely to be closed for the rest of the afternoon. Fire alarm caused by flooding on the 1st floor which has apparently caused quite a bit of damage. No one's allowed in at the moment I'm afraid.

No you see, I have an email account from when I registered. My name was spelt wrong on it, but I went ahead and used it cos I needed to check stuff as you do when you're a fresher. So I set up my myzone and login to suit me. Changed all the passwords I was given by the registration desk. So then last Nov I emailed them and told them my email address was the wrong spelling and if there was any chance they could change it. They said they would issue me a new one.

So last week got an email with my new email address and said the passwords are the same as the account I originally got. So tried to log in with the passwords I use for the original account but it doesn't work. So I figure they were talking about the original password I got when I registered. But I threw the paper out when I changed all my passwords. So I don't have my original one.

That's why I emailed them to explain that, instead they redirected me to the helpdesk online. And when I tried to log in there with my student number there was no 'case' .

The problem I want solved here is the problem with the ISS helpdesk website. They said there is an "open query case" when I log in with my student number but when I log in there's nothing there?!

I'm not based in TCD campus so don't get much time to go into Trinity itself. So I have no clue where anything is TBH with you.

You should still be able to use that URL I gave: surely if you got a new email address then you will have a new logon for myzone entirely: this will let you reset that password (that you don't know) to something else.
