    Afternoon all,

I have a PC at home that acts as a media server. It is nothing special, a self build 1.3GHz AMD Duron with 704mb ram (yeah yeah, the extra 64mb is used by the video card).

As I said, nothing special, but it works well as a media server.

Anyway, I am looking to add a USB Satellite Receiver to use it as a PVR of sorts. I will be using my PS3 or XBMC to watch the recordings.

Does anyone know of a relatively cheap USB receiver? I have tried all the usual spots, dabs, expanys, misco.... and cannot find what I am looking for.

Does anyone know where to look? Also, is that PC powerful enough to record HD? I think it would die a death if I tried to watch HD on it, but would recording be any different?

    Thanks,
    MJ

Yes, the bitstream isn't beyond what your PC should handle but you're right, it would have a fit trying to process it!
