    Zoology where? :)

Application policies for mature student can vary slightly from uni to uni, though most seem to have a variation of the interview / aptitude test. The best advice i can give is to ring or email the relevant admissions dept.

    Good luck.

I couldnt really speculate. You can ask Trish Hoare, the Mature Student officer in NUIG. Her number is 091 4926595 or have a look at the website: http://www.nuigalway.ie/prospective_students/mature_students/

There is no late application to this course for Mature students, as far as I know, but you should be ok as long as you applied to CAO before the 1st of Feb.

Aptitude tests are designed to measure your abilities across a range of aptitudes, for example language or numbers or how well you can deal with abstracts. Some people find aptitude tests straightforward and some people dont. UCC has a useful section on its website that gives some good info on these tests. http://www.ucc.ie/careers/students/Job_Search_from_Start_to_Finish/Pscyhometric_Tests.php#testhelp

NUI Maynooth's Career Development Centre also has some good stuff.

    Hope this helps :)
