    hey everyone,

quick question, is there any way to find out if your landlord is declaring his/her rental income to the government?.. without having to actually ring up (thus shopping them)

Nope - the landlord's tax status is none of your business.

You can however check www.prtb.ie to see if your tenancy is registered. This is a legal requirement.
