Anybody else notice ehobbyasia.com were running a draw over the last few weeks ? Apparently every purchase made it into a draw, and 100 people were picked.

First I heard of it was when the emailed me this morning to say I'd won 11th prize of a TM Centimetre Master GBB :)
I didnt notice the promotion blurb when I was buying whatever it was I bought.

And another Irish lad won first prize of a King Arms Galil, and yet another irish guy known to me won a prize too.

Full list of winners is here...

    http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/promotion

We got three winners out of a possible 100, and one of those was first prize. Not bad, considering how small the airsoft community in Ireland is, compared to other countries.

Maybe they'll wake up to the fact that, despite us being small, we buy far too much and they'll sort us out with slightly cheaper shipping.

On another note, ehobby are bloody excellent. It was a nice idea for them to have this draw.

They are good and reliable. Personally I'd recommend buying AEG's or GBB's here in Ireland - if something goes wrong you have the service and a degree of cover you won’t get from foreign shores.

They shouldn’t have the orange tip - only stuff shipped to the US need to be orange by law. (afaik)

You need to probably ask for a shipping quote and it can be pricey but it's usually very quick and registered, so it can arrive in as little as a week but usually give it 2.

If you are looking at buying an AEG then you can add any number of days, weeks (or even potentially months as has happened to some) incase they are checked by customs and sent for ballistic testing... If it's over the joule it will be destroyed and you will probably be paid a visit by the men in black to explain yourself.
Opps, forgot about the duty and extra charges you might have to pay too...

If it's a first purchase - definitely buy Irish. The few euro you might save buying abroad doesn’t make up for the piece of mind, service (and sometimes free coffee and cookies);):D:D that you get from buying from an Irish retailer.

That said - they are very good for all the add-on's and accessories you could possibly need that maybe hard to find here.

    hope this helps.

I love the luck of those pistols personally, would even go so far as to get one as a wall hanger. My passion for pistols has returned, time to increase my collection! Oh wait. Money. Lol ugh

Yeah checked that and there are no pending orders. Dont know does it make a difference if I buy from EBay or direct from their website.

I emailed them last night and unfortunatly, it was not I. But it was only shoppers at the online shop that were put in the draw and not those who bought through EBay.

    Dang
