Can External college students receive unemployment benefits?

I have 0 hours college a week as I am repeating my year externally. I am available and willing to work (by all means I'd prefer to earn a wage than receive benefits) but cannot find anything. I don't receive any grants so am relying solely on my parents to get by.

Is there anything I am eligible for?

Jobseekers allowance maybe? This will be means tested and your parents earnings taken into account if you are living at home.

Would I be eligible? I mean, I'm enrolled with the college and have a student card and stuff, I just don't have any lectures.
