Electronicmanuals.co.uk seems to be down all week. Does anyone know what's the problem? I am awaiting an activation code for a manual but my emails keep failing to deliver.

Having same problem. Sent faulty cd which they agreed by email to replace three weeks ago. Just chased up missing item to discover site no longer accessible. I think we've been had!

Yeah the exact same thing happened me at first. Faulty dVD. But they replaced it but it now needs an activation code in setup whch you have to email them for. Is there anything we can do?? Even to complain somewhere?

G-Day im from Australia and i've been trying to get code as well did any one get answer to what is going on with electronicmanuals as i think i've been had too.

Watch this lot.
I purchased software and the DVD's arrived. Tried to install and had to go through their terrible installation process!
After dozens of e-mails (ALL un-answered), all I have is two useless DVD's and I'm out of pocket.
Now their site is down, so all I can assume is that I was a scamed!

I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there who purchased a peugot 407 manual on dvd from electronicmanuals.co.uk and received an activation code and if so could I possibly have it to try with my dvd? The site is down and I am unable to receive the activation code?

Hi to all. I am from Australia also and have just purchased 2 DVD's from electronicmanuals.co.uk. Guess what? cannot Email them to get a license key, also the 2nd DVD is unreadable. Has anybody had any luck with these people.

alot of people have been having problems with this site for the past few months. only resolution i see if to contact your credit company and see if they can get the money back.

I just put a dispuit in with paypal about activation code but the said they can not help but if the get more claims about no code they could look into it so i hope yous brought it with paypal and decide to put a caim in.

Paypal does only cover disputes from ebay alright.
if you paid using a credit card then might be an idea to get in touch with them

The same occurred to me. After receiving the cd I remained without an activation code. In other words they ripped me off as this was only a scam!!!!

Many of us have been caught by this site
I made a complaint to Paypal to get monies back ,but no recompense .
Electronic manuals are offline and have vanished with proceeds
paypals response was dissapointing to say the least,Iwill not use them again

I have tre same problem with the missing code. Do´s somebody know where to get a program to calculate the code. I'l think the code is generated by a unik code given from the computer when you try to install?

http://www.eserviceinfo.com doesn't have as many manuals, then again they don't charge.

A quick look on google shows people having lots of problems with them since Jan.

After weeks of internet surfing i,ve tracked down a code for AUDI A4 Manual sold from eiectronicmanuals it worked for me it might work for yous the code is a4ad8a45 hope it helps you guys

Yes I purchased a Mercedes repair manual from these people in December 2008 and the installation process was very long winded.
I did manage to get an activation code etc and used the manual about three times, have come to use it again now but cannot get it to work.I too have E-Mailed them but the message cannot get delivered. Waste of money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

it happened to me too i bought DVD for VW manual and i got the activation code but the manual,, data was locked and never knew how to unlock it and i send them dozens of emails but no reply and finaly they went off line
i guess they made enough money from scamming ppl like us and went on to their next fraud
P.S. they had an address listed in their site somewhere in Jabal Ali in Dubai
does anyone have it written down somewhere???

same thing happened to me.Discs worked at first though now it says there are no registered products and use set up to register, when I try it simply wont read any of the discs!What a rip off
