    Hi

Can anyone tell me where I can access historic information regarding old tax rates (dating back to 1997 and the interim period) and also the rate bands.

I am searching the internet and Revenue website but have not struck lucky yet. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Also - some infomation I have come accross shows a Single Person's Income Tax Personal Allowance as £4,200 in 1999/00; £4,700 00/01... can this be right compared to €1,520 in 2002 - was there a different calculation used back then?

Would be grateful for pointers and advice.
    Thanks

Hi the quickest and easiest way to get the tax rates is to buy 'Taxation Summary' book by the Institute Of Taxes. They have all the historical tax rates (CT,IT) and allowances for IT etc. The book is available in all decent book shops and is very handy to have.

    or on the web http://www.taxireland.ie/services/455.aspx
