"When I was lying in a hospital bed, I read Lance’s book and looked to him for inspiration. I hope that our team can serve the same goal – motivate people to fight this illness!"

So, is he on board? Armstrong was clearly stronger than Contador in the Tour Down Under.

Does anybody else get a sense of the "Tom Cruises" about Lances comeback....as in he's a little crazy but very powerful within the sport, with a lot of big industry names behind him (vested interests such as Trek,Nike,Oakley) so people smile politely and trot along with him for the easy life...

He had the good sense to give up that triathlon rubbish and work on the difficult bit.

Looks like Lance will have to shed a few more kgs if he is going to beat Bertie up the Ventoux! ( He will!) on both counts

I'm hoping Andy Schleck will beat the pair of them.

Great climber, (much like your physique from what I gather but not as good a climber;)) I agree it is a possibility.

I'm trying to get my bike like his too. I already have a Cervelo, albeit a white one, and I want to get a similar seat post. The plan was to hang around the Saxo Bank team bus and hope that they would confuse me with Andy. Ah, day dreams, aren't they great? Bjarne, has of course thrown a spanner in the works by moving to Specialized, but I can't really afford a completely new bike right now.

Behave Blorg - plenty of us Tri heads on here - you don't want us coming after you in our wetsuits - not a pretty sight...
