Hi, my Asics trainers are rapidly losing their 'bounce' and need to replace them asap. Can anyone recommend a good pair of ladies trainers? Probably would be more partial to Asics, but would consider New Balance or Nike too. Also, budget is a serious consideration right now!! :( Any cheap website deals on trainers? Thanks.

what kind or runner are you (protonator, neutral, suponator), how much do you weight, how flexible are you, how wide are your feet, which of your toes is longest....... there are so many considerations when deciding which trainers are best for you. Your best option is to go to a shop with an expert who can help you. THese are often more expensive than the online retailers but in theory you only need to go once to figure out what type of gait you have and then you can buy future pairs online. Saying that, I would get gait rechecked every so often.

I'm currently wearing New Balance 1060. They have a womens version that has fuchsia trim instead of dark red. Both versions were in my local Elveries for 60 EUR reduced from 120. For the money, I reckon they are excellent. They are a neutral shoe, so if your running style is reasonably economic they shouldn't do much harm anyway.
