A Question for Solicitors

    Hi!

I note frustration and anger at the state of the solicitor’s profession and the ineptitude of the Law Society and I sympathise with same.

However, I would be interested if the frustration extends to the other branch of the profession? What are your views on barristers, their regulatory body and the general state of the bar etc?

Given the disillusionment with the solicitors profession would you have liked to have been a barrister and would you recommend those with ambitions to be solicitors to become barristers instead?

I've fiddled around with your OP, Lawstud and made it more suitable for a discussion forum like this. I hope you get the responses you are looking for. I'm sure TheDemiurge (sp?) will be just as inclined to respond irregardless of the fact that the thread no longer addresses him/her personally.

    Also, *bump* (for fairness).
