That's not that song I remember from the program, I clearly remember the words "Haaaaaaardcastle and McccccccccccCormick" being sang in the way only an 80's cheesy t.v. show can have.

Anyone got any other cringeworthy memories from that tv mad decade?

Remember 'Cover Up'? The star Jon Erik Hexum died after shooting himself in the head with a gun loaded with blanks thinking it would be harmless. Very sad, i used to love him:(. The chap who took over his role -Anthony Hamilton wasn't a patch on him.

I bought season 1 and 2 of Hardcastle and MacCormack last year from Amazon and I loved it. Sure it was cheesy but it's fun and there was a great chemistry between the two of em. Plus I love my car chases and because they didn't carry weapons and MacCormack drove that sports car there were 2 to 3 car chases per episode.

One thing that a lot of these old shows had in common was the fact that the hero/s all had a cool vehicle of some sort. Be it a car, van, helicopter, motorbike or whatever they always had something cool that you always wanted one yourself.

*edit* maybe we should do a thread of vehicles

Anyone remember The Man from Atlantis? My first crush:o. Went off him when he turned into Bobby Ewing, dunno why, think it was something about his hair that put me off. Then Wonder Woman...we used to play games where we were her...spinning around and catching baddies. Charlie's Angels 'once upon a time they were three little girls...' We used to fight over which Angel we were. No one wanted to be Sabrina:(.
The Six Million Dollar Man - how sh*t cool was he? All the wee boys used to run about in slow motion making that sound Steve Austin used to make when he'd flex his bionic arm...then Jamie Sommers the Bionic Woman and the Incredible Hulk:).
