Eota, EN Certification

    Hi,

I've seen people (with vested interests of course) state that the testing done for Eota or EN certification is more stringent than our own IAB or the BBA.

This sounds like tosh but I'm curious anyway.

Does anyone know who does the actual testing for an Eota certification? What does it cover? Similar for EN certification.

In theory it makes sense to have 1 europe wide certification. However, the climate conditions vary hugely so how practical is it?

Any thoughts as always are hugely appreciated.
