    I wonder will it have a fix for the Thomson boxes for the stuttering ticker (Sky News etc) It does my head in. Also does anyone no do the new Sky+ HD boxes have this bug i.e. Samsung, Pace and Amstrad

    Is this Sky+ only ?
    our current world-class EPG. How do you improve something and not break that?

    "World-class" is debatable......for channel owners who pay for extra stuff, then maybe, but for subscribers, definitely not - too many useless and unwanted channels, and way too awkward to access the other channels.

    I've a few simple suggestions for improvements, but since I'm only a subscriber and not paying them thousands, there isn't a hope in hell that they'd listen. :P

    That's usually a symptom of poor TV de-interlacing.

    ALL TV in europe is 576i or HD 1080i. Many HD TVs are natively Progressive.

    You'll have to sit close if you have a < 36" HDTV though, esp. the 26" ones :)

    I wonder how it'd look through the RF out to a 2nd TV, as is sometimes the case.

    I'd doubt if many got Sky+HD specifically for their 26" TV! :eek:
